This policy describes the data flows in the current WiFiSpeedTest site. The site does not require an account.
The speed test transfers generated bytes between your browser and WiFiSpeedTest endpoints on Cloudflare, then calculates timings in your browser. Network-tool requests can include the public host, port, or domain you submit. Like other web requests, these requests expose your IP address and request metadata to Cloudflare and the relevant endpoint.
WiFiSpeedTest does not send individual speed-test result records to a WiFiSpeedTest results database. Results you choose to save are stored in your browser as described below. This does not mean that infrastructure providers keep no request or security logs; their handling is governed by their own policies.
The site uses browser storage for features you use:
Our first-party script sends events to https://convertfree.io/api/analytics/events. The payload includes the random session identifier; page and landing paths; broad source, device, and viewport categories; campaign parameters in the page URL; page depth; page views; active time; maximum scroll percentage; visible ad-slot identifiers; and feature actions. Numeric speed and diagnostic results are sent only as ranges, selected ports as common/custom categories, and detected network names are not included.
The analytics request itself exposes ordinary connection metadata, including an IP address, to the receiving server. The tracker does not use Google Analytics or read form-field text.
The site displays ads supplied by Adsterra. Adsterra states that its advertising services may process technical data such as IP address, device/browser data, approximate location or timezone, ad interactions, and cookies or similar identifiers. See Adsterra's current Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for its purposes, retention, partners, and choices.
The site does not offer newsletter signup. The retired /api/newsletter path returns HTTP 410 without reading or storing the request body.
The site is served over HTTPS. Browser-stored data remains until it is cleared. Analytics, advertising, infrastructure, and email data are retained under the applicable provider or service practices linked above. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
